The “Church Search”
The Church Search is an annual event produced by the Office of Christian Formation. It is| a "hands-on" tour of our church with a guided history presentation and time for searchers to explore the "behind the scenes" of our place of worship. The Church Search is primarily a component of the Sacramental Preparation for First Eucharist families, but due to overwhelming positive responses, Transfiguration now will offer the Church Search for all of our parish family.
Upcoming dates for the "Church Search": Saturday, April 21 2007, after 4:30 mass.
Vacation Bible School Prayer Service and Ice Cream Social
Held on Friday evening at the close of Vacation Bible School week, all of our parish family is invited to attend and pray, sing, and celebrate with our Vacation Bible School participants. Young and old alike enjoy seeing what our children have learned during V.B.S. week. After the prayer service all are invited to celebrate with an ice cream sundae, as part of a fundraiser for our youth group Destiny's annual service trip to rural Maine.
RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE FOR THE ICE CREAM SOCIAL. The cost of the ice cream social is $3 per person. Vacation Bible School is planned for early July.
