RCIC

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Children is for children of catechetical age, usually over the age of 7, who have never been baptized, or have been baptized in another Christian denomination, or have been baptized Catholic and never received Catholic instruction.

RCIC classes begin in the fall  During the classes, the children receive instruction in areas such as prayer, scripture, discipleship, liturgy, sacraments, and the commandments.  Culmination of the process occurs with the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil.
