The Office of Christian Formation is happy in being responsible for supplying families with all the tools necessary to prepare their children to receive the sacraments of Eucharist, Penance, and Confirmation. We provide a well-integrated, catechetical plan that involves parents, students, and the parish in meeting this goal.

Preparation for the Sacraments begins as follows:

Transfiguration’s Pastoral Team is responsible for preparing individuals/couples/families for the reception of the following sacraments:

Information about the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is available from Damian Zynda, the Director of Christian Formation. RCIA is a comprehensive faith formation program for those interested in becoming Catholic. Any inquiries or questions can be directed to the office at 248-2467.

Sacramental preparation is vital for all members of our faith community. The Church of the Transfiguration is fully committed to providing Sacramental Preparation to all. If you or your children have special needs, the Diocese of Rochester has prepared a useful guide to help you.  Please review, "A Guide for Parents: The Specially Challenged and Sacramental Preparation in the Diocese of Rochester". Those who may be hearing God’s call toward religious Vocation may contact Fr. Mike Bausch, Pastor, with any questions or inquiries about the Sacrament of Holy Orders or with questions about the Diaconate.
