Gingerbread Family Activity Day

This intergenerational family activity presented by the Office of Christian Formation is a very popular holiday activity. Each family comes and builds a gingerbread house together.  Participants bring food items to decorate with and share with other families.  Some of our “houses” always evolve into gingerbread palaces!

Come and make a gingerbread house with your family and watch as our education center becomes a showcase of “cookie palaces!”  The registration fee includes one gingerbread house (families may make more than one) and includes your “yard”, frosting, and some decorations.  Families should bring items (like candy, vanilla wafers) to decorate with and share with other families. 

Up to 30 families can participate, due to space restrictions. Enrollment is on a first come first serve basis.  For more info, call the Christian Formation Office at 248-2467
