Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring The Fruit Of The Spirit
Tuesdays 12:30 – 2:00PM, October 4, 2011-March 13, 2012 (except 11/22, 12/27 & 2/21)
PLC Double Room—Childcare Provided
Facilitator: Kathy Madrazo
Fee: $20 Book/Materials
This 21-week Beth Moore bible study, led by Kathy Madrazo of the Transfiguration faith community,
will help us come to appreciate the fruit of the Holy Spirit and
realize that we cannot grow, learn, or produce fruit on our own.
Through an intimate relationship with our Lord we can know
the freedom of a life filled with the fruit of His Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control.
Against such things there is no law.”
We will be studying the book of Galatians, concentrating on Galatians 5:22-23. With the aid of DVD’s, Beth Moore will walk participants through each trait listed in the fruit, encouraging women to know the freedom of a Spirit-filled life.
Participants will be led to reflect on the supernatural aspects of each “fruit” in order to understand that it is not possible to grow, learn or produce the “fruit” alone. Participants will be challenged to develop their own fruit by maintaining an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God, which results in living beyond yourself.
Allow God to do fresh work in your life and let every journey through His Word be a new experience, a new opportunity. Join us!
All women welcome and child care is provided. Registration begins
September 10th and September 11th. If you have any questions please
contact Kathy Madrazo at 264-9177 or kmadrazo@rochester.rr.com.
