A Message To Our Liturgical Ministers
You are such a blessing to our parish community! Without your devoted involvement in our liturgies, they would not be as prayerful and beautiful as they are. Please know that we deeply appreciate your loving service to God and God’s people. Thank you!
A survey of our roster shows that many of you have been liturgical ministers for as long as the parish has been in existence. (Thanks be to God!) Many of you, and we are equally grateful, are new to this ministry and, without a doubt, most of you fall somewhere in between. (We love you too!) Whatever your time of service, we believe that you have been called to this ministry by the God who knows your special gifts. We also believe that these callings can come in many different ways: like a sudden bolt of lightening, like a gentle stirring that slowly manifests itself, or sometimes only through the mediation of another.
If you know anyone with the gifts of hospitality, friendliness and warmth, public speaking – gifts that can be combined with the ultimate gift of wanting to love and serve the Lord – please invite them to join our ministry. At this time we especially need individuals/couples/families who would like to serve in Hospitality, or as Greeters or Lectors.
