Advocacy and Action | ||
|
Several programs in the Peace and Justice program involve advocating for a group of disadvantaged individuals or groups, and then taking action to correct their hardship. As the issues are explored, participants develop a deep understanding of the problems faced.
By immersing one self in the teachings of Christ and the Church, solutions to many of today's problems become achievable and clear to see.
Please follow the links below to learn more about each of these important ministries. Also, watch for Public Policy Weekend which is an activity sponsored by the Legislative Action Committe usually in Conjunction with another ministry focused on a particular issue.
