February Food Collection
February 7-8

Demitri House is a small independent charity working with the homeless in the Rochester area. It has a Food Cupboard for those in emergency need, a “Lunch Drop-in Program” that gives a small meal, companionship and counseling for its clients as needed. In the winter, it has an emergency shelter for men, with 7 beds, showers, laundry facilities, and is staffed by volunteers.

There is a SPECIAL need for personal hygiene products (these items are not covered by food stamps) such as: small detergents, soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, deodorant & shaving supplies.

Food items needed are: pork and beans, pastas & sauces, canned fruit, soups, tuna, coffee, cereals, sugar, peanut butter & jelly and individual juices.  Any other food items are gratefully accepted.

Cash donations can be put in the plastic containers on the barrels and are used to purchase other needed items not donated.

Please put your donations in the barrels in the Gathering Area or the walkway. Thank you for your on going generosity
