Social Ministry

In Christís spirit of love and compassion, Social Ministry links our community with others, especially those living in poverty, helping us to see the struggles of the poor, the oppressed and marginalized locally, nationally, and globally.

We provide food, clothing, financial assistance, and other basic essentials, while preserving the dignity of those in need. We also seek to educate and encourage individuals and families in our parish to recognize and embrace opportunities to help others, by coordinating projects that make outreach and service integral components of parish and family life.

Social Ministry provides an opportunity to meet new friends and experience the vitality of our community. We welcome new members at any time throughout the year as individuals or families. We hope you will share your gifts and talents and join with us in our ministry of outreach and justice. You can participate in our programs, such as the Turkey Drive or Christmas Baskets, or contribute through the planning committee. The Social Ministry Committee meets five times a year on Sundays, 10:45-12:00pm. in the Education Center, upper floor; look for meeting announcements in the bulletin.
