Dec 20, 2019

Dear Friends,

Be Watchful and remain Hope filled! As we continue to Be Watchful and Hopeful during this Advent Season here are some thoughts for your reflection.

Enjoy, stay calm and count your blessings!

This is something I will be saying to myself on a regular basis during this holiday season when things can get a bit busy.  I am sure some of you will be muttering similar things as we begin to celebrate the Christmas season.  It is so easy to be carried away by all the demands of the season and easy to forget it is a time to soak in the sacredness of life.

As I reflect on Christmas and all the related activities, I cannot help but be mindful of those who have no one to be with during this season.  Do you know someone who will be alone on Christmas Day?  If you do, would you consider giving them a call to wish them a blessed Christmas or maybe even invite them to dinner.

I recently received the following poem "THIS CHRISTMAS” that struck a chord within my soul and I would like to share it with you today.  It is a clear reminder of what this season is all about, especially in our 21st century world.

Please make sure to take time to relax and enjoy the sights and smells of this special season!

Be Watchful and Hopeful during these final days of your Advent spiritual journey.

Let us continue to pray for and take action to bring about peace in our world!

In peace and courage,

!!THIS CHRISTMAS!!
