Lord, how good it is for us to be here -- Matthew 17

Teen Playlist Living Lent

The season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and continues for 40 days.

During these weeks Catholics prepare for Easter by practicing Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving.

Our parish has chosen for our Lenten theme this year "Everlasting Love."

This playlist will help you experience God's everlasting love for you this Lent by giving you starting places for your daily prayer.

Spend some time in prayer (just in your head or maybe writing/sketching in your journal) wondering:

  • In what way does this season of Lent feel special or meaningful to you?
  • How is your daily practice of prayer deepening this Lent?
  • Have you given up anything this Lent? In your experience, how does fasting help your faith?
  • What can you let go of to make more room for God in your life?
  • How can you give to others this Lent?  In other words, how can you practice almsgiving?
  • What's your deepest hope for how this Lent will change your relationship with God?
