Teen Playlist: Faith in an Anxious World

This month's Prayer Playlist is about how God is present in our anxious moments, offering peace.

When we experience storms, when our boat is unsteady, Jesus walks across the water, steps into our rocking boat, and stills our restlessness.

Below you will find suggestions of ways to pray through your anxiety.

Here are some things to think about during your prayer time and maybe write about in your journal:

                                   Where is God in the midst of my most anxious moments?

                                    What might God -- or anxiety -- be trying to tell me? 

                                    What does anxiety feel like in your body? in your mind?

                                    What are some things that have helped you relieve your anxiety in the past?



                                      Take a few minutes before you go to bed to pray The Daily Replay.

Have fun decorating the journal you received at our September meeting.  Doodle with markers, make a collage of images on the cover,                                         or, if you are feeling VERY crafty, check out some of the crazy DIY journal decorating ideas HERE.


Pick out a few practical anxiety-relieving ideas from the Coronavirus Anxiety Workbook created by the Wellness Society, and commit to                                          putting them into practice this week.  (The list of 75 distraction activities on pages 10-11 is a great place to start!)
