Community Sponsored Agriculture (CSA) Our CSA program provides members with freshly-picked, certified organic vegetables and fruits that are grown in a way that improves the quality of the soil, ensuring long-term suitability for agriculture; to buy locally grown food to support the local economy; and to avoid transporting produce great distances.  Each week, for the approximately 25 week season, members come to pick up their “share” of produce. Members pay in advance for the season and share size, and are asked to volunteer to assist once at The Church of the Transfiguration to assist with the Friday distribution. Arrive by 4:00 to help setup, unload totes, help members select items, track member pickup, reload totes and clean up. Signups will start at the first distribution.  Produce can be picked up between 4:30–6:00 p.m. each Friday.  If you are not able to be there on a particular week, you can make arrangements with the team (leave produce outside, pick up at a volunteers home).  Any unclaimed produce will be donated.  For more information, contact Annette Gacioch at gerrynetti@aol.com (585-223-9252).   Check out the farm www.fellenzfamilyfarm.com, CSA@fellenzfamilyfarm.com,315-548-6228.

Community Garden - Our community garden has both family plots and a Gift Garden. Families can rent a 165 square foot plot for $20 per year or a 264 sq ft plot for $30 per year to grow their own vegetables and flowers. You are responsible for tilling, planting, weeding, watering and harvesting. No chemical pesticides or fertilizers are allowed. Everyone can join in with the Gift Garden - come once or regularly- we could always use your help. Community service hours are available for our teens. Each year from the Gift Garden, we supply up to a ton of fresh, organically grown vegetables to: Pittsford Food Cupboard, St Martin’s Place, Blessed Sacrament, and  St. Joseph's House of Hospitality.  For more information, contact Terry Jahnke at terry.jahnke24@gmail.com (585-381-9826) or  Don Cushing at doncush22kurt@juno.com (585-248-2225).
