Dear Friends,

I am excited to be alive and to be able to wish all of you a very Happy New Year!!! Emmanuel is among us and greatly blessed are we to embrace alongside our Lord new days of life!

I pray, you are still celebrating the twelve days of Christmas. This past year brought health challenges to me. I love Advent and many traditional events I normally participate in (RPO POPS, writing Christmas cards) but I had to make wise decisions of backing off and cancelling gatherings so as to keep myself as well as possible for all our liturgies. As I write this (December 19th) I am feeling better day by day. I want to thank everyone for your prayers and concerns and delicious soups that helped me recover from this strong virus I received. You bless me in so many ways.

My heart is grateful to all who enabled us with beautiful Advent and Christmas liturgies! The folks who gave us beautiful music, reflections, stewardship with serving our
masses, all who enhanced our liturgical environments with beauty! Please acknowledge our artisans who made our environments so sacred, Meg Chaides, Patty Chard, Jackie & Gary Cushman, Binnie Duval, Danna & David Friedlander, Kathy & Bob Goldbach, Bob Gruber, Bill Hulbert, Joan Keyser, Rick Meisenzahl, Andrea Rubery, Catherine Torrigiano, John Trippe, Scott Tubbs at St. Catherine, and Mary Blasko, Marcy Bold, Jill Frank, Gael Garrity, Diana and Karl Hamann, Sara Pickhardt and Nancy Wemett from Transfiguration.

I am being brief in this note, but I am far from being brief in my love and appreciation for all my sisters and brothers from Saint Catherine of Siena and the Church of the Transfiguration!

Thank you for your love, prayer and support!

To a blessed 2024 for all,
Father Rob
