Lord, how good it is for us to be here -- Matthew 17

Holy Orders

What is Holy Orders?

Holy Orders is the sacrament which continues Christ's mission through the grace and power given to carry out the sacred duties of deacons, priests or bishops.

Transfiguration recognizes that members of our parish family may feel a vocation to enter the priesthood or commit themselves to religious life. If you interested in perusing Sacrament of Holy Orders, either as a deacon or priest, please contact Fr. Rob, or the Office of Vocation Awareness (585-461-2890) or visit the Diocese of Rochester's vocation page for contact information: http://www.dor.org/index.cfm/vocations/contact-office-of-vocation-awareness/ or visit: www.rocpriest.org

“but, if only someone would go to them …”

Pray for those who are called to 'run the race' through Consecrated Life or Holy Orders.
