Celebrating the Eucharist: Deeper Insights for our Times
Vatican Council II called the Eucharist the "source and summit" of the Christian life. And yet, many Catholic Christians are still unsure of the purpose and meaning of this most ancient ritual. Why do we celebrate the Eucharist? What does its celebration mean for the Christian community? Why are there disputes over how the Eucharist is celebrated? What do we mean when we say that we believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in our Eucharistic celebration? This 4-week series will allow us to prayerfully consider and come to better understand these important contemporary questions of our Catholic faith.
