  Listening is not always easy
  Prayer is both talking with God in praise and petition as well as
  listening. In James Martin, SJ's book Learning to Pray he says: "It
  is a raising up of our minds and hearts; a surge of the heart; a
  sharing between friends; a long, loving look at the real." Just like
  other relationships, it is often so much easier to talk than it is to be
  quiet and receive the other person.
  Come join Karen Dietz, SSJ for the gathering of Women in the
  Spirit to hear about the value of listening to God. Together we will
  share times & ways of listening and tuning our hearts to really hear
  & receive God's message.
