  Men In The Spirit will hold their monthly gathering at 6:00PM on Monday, October 21, 2019 in the Double Room in the Parish Life Center. We will have our usual opening fellowship gathering, with light refreshments, followed by a video of a homily given by the Pastor of St. Patrick's Church in Erie, PA, where he expresses his outrage at the scandal rocking the Catholic Church, and calls for changes to avoid such scandals. We will break into small discussion groups, regrouping at meeting end for group awareness. Hope to see you there!

  Catherine will informally share accounts told to her by
  the refugees including why they came, what they have left
  behind and the risks taken in the hope of finding a safe
  and peaceful life. In addition, Catherine will discuss how
  volunteers from Annunciation House and other faith communities are putting the Gospel message into practice by
  providing shelter, food, clothing, advocacy and education
  for the refugees who are on their way to join their families
  in different parts of the United States.
  Annunciation House, a Catholic service organization, has
  been helping the migrant, homeless and economically vulnerable peoples of the border region since 1978. Catherine and her husband, Michael Brennan are volunteering
  for one year at Annunciation’s House – Casa Refugiado
