Hello Friends,
I am pleased to welcome you to our website and to our parish, the Church of the Transfiguration!
I am new to Transfiguration, joining the parish as part of the clustering with St. Catherine of Siena, where I remain as pastor. As much as I hope and pray to bring my gifts of blessing to this parish, let me share, I have received so much more from the wonderful people of both parishes. There is an abundant treasure of receiving the Lord's love right here in Pittsford and Mendon!
I will have been privileged to serve the Diocese of Rochester as a priest for 38 years as of this November 11th, 2021. God has enriched my vocation by service/stewardship/ministry in several faith communities. I was ordained in 1983 at Saint John of Rochester Church in Perinton. From this wonderful beginning, I moved on and have served at Immaculate Conception Church in Ithaca, Saint John the Evangelist in Greece and Saint Patrick in Macedon. Every ministerial experience has brought its blessings and now, I am so grateful to say, the blessings are a hundred fold here at Transfiguration and at St. Catherine of Siena.
