Our first visit to Transfiguration was on Mother's Day in the mid-1980's, right after we moved to our home in Pittsford. All the transition to a new church, new home, new everything caused our normally calm two year old to misbehave (spectacularly) during mass. Several parishioners reached out, with kindness, understanding and humor, and that is when I knew we had found our church home.
Retired after 38 years in the information technology field, I joined the parish staff to help update our website, and find other ways (e-mail, social media) to connect with current and future parishioners. Please contact me if you have any thoughts on how to improve communications!
