Strengthen the Vine: A Year of Growth and Success
Just over a year ago, during Town Meetings at both parishes, we introduced the "Strengthen the Vine" initiative. Our new Finance Director, Dan Hofford, provided a comprehensive update on the financial status of both parishes. Together with our Parish Councils and Staff, we outlined strategies to enhance our financial and spiritual well-being.
We are thrilled to share that both parishes are now in a much stronger financial position, thanks to the incredible generosity of our parishioners. With your contributions of time, talent, and treasure, we have balanced our budgets at both churches, we will finish the fiscal year with surpluses, we met our 2023-2024 Catholic Ministries Appeal goals, and we are replenishing our savings. Your continued support and kindness have made this possible—thank you! The ‘Strengthen the Vine’ initiative is concluding, and our upcoming Annual Report will share more information on both the financial results and spiritual well-being initiatives in 2023-2024.
Welcome to Strengthen the Vine! For close to 40 years, the faithful at Transfiguration have supported our church with generous gifts of time, talent and treasure. We are embarking on a new initiative, Strengthen the Vine, to put our church on solid financial footing. As the Vine gets stronger, we can better engage, build relationships, grow disciples and invite new members into our faith family - Grow the Branches!
