Dear Friends,
This year the pastoral councils of St. Catherine of Siena and Transfiguration have been meeting the same evening in the same place. Meetings begin with both councils together for prayer and some reports/topics, followed by each council meeting separately for parish-specific items. The councils have approved a new covenant to guide the single pastoral council beginning this fall. Copies of that covenant are available after Mass and in the parish offices. Now begins the selection process for members of the new pastoral council.
Some current council members will continue, but new members who will have a 3-year term are needed as well: For the 2024-25 year, St. Catherine will select two new members and one alternate; Transfiguration will select one new member. Please consider whether you are called to serve in this important ministry and whether there are fellow parishioners you wish to nominate. Nomination forms will be in next week’s bulletin.
