Lord, how good it is for us to be here -- Matthew 17

Dear Friends,

I’m praying that your first week of Easter has been continuing with many joys celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ!

My heart is so grateful to everyone who over the past several weeks came together to gift us with a prayerful and moving Lent to a glorious Easter!  Our Parish Staffs and various ministries prayed and brought us to our spiritual journey that gifted us with many graces and blessings.  I am extremely grateful to all who made our parish homes welcoming and an example of how much we believe in our Lord, Jesus Christ!

One of the most sacred and holy moments I was blessed to witness was the baptisms of Zabrina and Oliver and the full reception into our Catholicism, Cliff, Peter and Matthew at our Easter Vigil! The joys and enthusiasm expressed in their hearts and faces was overwhelming to me. How blessed are our two faith communities to have these seven individuals bring their faith and gifts among us!  If you have not met them as of yet, please introduce yourselves. They are so happy to be among us. May we continue to keep them in our prayer.

The moment is almost here with the experience of the Total Eclipse on Monday, April 8th.  At our 10:45 AM Sunday Mass we will acknowledge this moment of creation given to us by our beloved God and Creator.

Bring your Eclipse Glasses and we will take a group photograph of all in attendance.

Many events are planned around our various communities. Mendon for example is having a “Grazing and Gazing” extravaganza from 12 PM – 5 PM in the Hamlet.

Where are you going to be for this eclipse?

May we,  wherever, we might gather, do so with good planning and patience, particularly on the roads,  for the safety for all in mind.

Together, let us keep our prayers of EASTER ALLELUIAS going forward!

Blessings,

Fr. Rob
