Lord, how good it is for us to be here -- Matthew 17

Dear Friends,
Really. Really. I am writing about the Fourth Sunday of Advent Already?
Remember our parish themes? Saint Catherine of Siena was /is “Hope and Anticipation…Forward in Faith.” The Church of the Transfiguration was/is “Faith, Hope, Joy and Love.”
And, may I humbly ask each of you did these themes speak to you? I am sincerely interested if they did.
I am going to be brief with this message because, I would like to affirm what this Advent is about. Can we be about some sacred space and time to be present to our “Emmanuel”?
Kindly, may I ask what you have done to make this Advent special in your life? Not that you have to tell me personally, but what can you reveal in your heart and soul to the Lord?
I am going to leave it at that.
This weekend we hear from the Gospel of Luke the wonderful story of Mary, Jesus’s mother seeking out Elizabeth. Might we take time to think ourselves when we have sought out Jesus? Any thoughts, have we?
I would really like to hear from you. Your thoughts are always welcomed!
OMG, Advent movements ,
Blessings,
Father Rob
